News in Spring
After her first year in Cologne, my first PhD student Iuliia has moved to Stuttgart. Welcome! And Virdi, after already helping with our move to Stuttgart, he now started his Master thesis. Good luck! Meanwhile, Julia is still in Cologne, but already halfway in her Master thesis and currently visiting our new labs in Stuttgart. We combined this with some exciting in-situ diffraction experiments.
In addition, last week the German solid state community was visiting Stuttgart during the "Hämdsärmelkolloquium". These were three fantastic days! Many thanks for the chance to be part of the organising commitee, many thanks to all the supporters, thanks to Thomas Schleid for his evening lecture (see photo below) and certainly thanks to all who came.
